Saint Louis Area Home Care Agency - Locally Owned & operated - Nationally Supported"We founded Assistance Home Care in honor of my Mom. The most important thing to her was her family and having good quality time together. And that was usually done right around the kitchen table. It is our commitment to you to help bring your family back around the table. Let us do the busy work, so that you can have good quality time with your family." - Sally Serfas
Assistance Home Care is a Saint Louis area, family owned and operated home care agency that was opened to provide care for those wishing to age in the comfort of their own home. Assistance Home Care provides non-medical companion in-home care services and homemaker services to adults and seniors who want to remain at home with help, instead of struggling to meet their own needs. We also serve those recovering from surgery, new and expectant mothers, and other homebound or bedbound residents of Saint Charles, Saint Louis, Lincoln and Warren County. Assistance Home Care provides the necessary in-home care within the familiar surrounds of home whether home is a private residence, assisted living facility, retirement community, nursing home, skilled nursing facility, adult family home or group home. We are a unique agency because we personally participate in the home care plan for each and every client. We truly care and want to help you with your St Louis home care needs. Contact us today!
Sally Serfas, Chief Care Officer and Co-Founder
Sally knows that the best way to give people exactly what they want is to listen to their needs. She has spent a lifetime listening, planning and problem-solving for her parents, while nurturing her community as an elementary school teacher. Sally graduated with a B.A. Degree in Education from Lindenwood University. Sally spent five years as a caregiver to her mother, Geraldean, who ultimately lost her fight with Alzheimer's. Wanting to make a difference, Sally has been an active volunteer and supporter of the St Louis Alzheimer's Association and was recently awarded the honor of being named 2012 Saint Charles Committee Walk Chair for the "The Walk To End Alzheimer's". Whether it be fund raising for Alzheimer’s or teaching PSR at our church, Sally has seized countless opportunities to support others, and it has been her honor. Sally has also completed the Companion Connection Senior Care syllabus and graduated as a national member of this organization of independent care giving companies. Sally's deep participation in the human condition led her to co-found Assistance Home Care in honor of her mother, Geraldean, and build a truly caring and compassionate community of caregivers.
